1. UAB “Tanagra” was established on 1st September 1993 by three citizens of the Republic of Lithuania as a Private Limited Liability Company.
At the beginning the whole work was based on the market research of spare parts. First deliveries were made form Poland and the first spare parts that UAB “Tanagra” imported to Lithuania were KAYABA shock absorbers, LOCHEED brake pads and PC piston rings.
TANAGRA name – it’s an ancient city of Rome empire.
Since the day of establishment of UAB “Tanagra” the Company has been successfully managed by one of the main Company’s shareholders and founders – the General Manger Genrik Dzikevic. His ideas and their purposeful implementation brought the Company out of the basement at DzÅ«kÅ³ Str. 57, where it started its activity, to the present business level of UAB “Tanagra”. Today UAB “Tanagra” takes the leader’s position and is one of the largest companies in Lithuania and abroad that sells spare parts not only for lightweight vehicles but also for trucks.

2. From 1993 up to the present day the activity of UAB “Tanagra” has been purposefully targeted to a constant improvement of the quality of performance not only when trading in spare automobile parts but also in the fields of providing services, repairing automobiles and providing their maintenance. This idea was implemented by the General Manager of the Company in 1994, when the first modern, though, a small automobile maintenance centre was established in Lithuania at DzÅ«kÅ³ Str. 57A. This auto centre had everything what an automobile user could need. This was an up-to-date auto service, where one could get not only the suspension repaired (this service was offered by the majority) but also get the engine, fuel system, ABS system, and on-board computer system diagnostics. For the first time in Lithuania qualified staff members have been specially trained and prepared, and their workplaces equipped with the electronic diagnostic system of the highest quality - SAXON, GUTMANN. That same building also served as a warehouse and wholesale and retail stores of spare automobile parts.

3. Since 1994 the General Manager of UAB “Tanagra” started to implement his another idea – he created a network of small stores and warehouses for retail and wholesale. This network covers the strategic places of Vilnius city. The criteria are simple – to sell spare automobile parts closer to the auto services and workshops for the convenience of automobile owners and mechanics, who repair automobiles. Still in 1995 UAB “Tanagra” owned 6 retail and wholesale stores of spare automobile parts. In the same year a new idea has started up to establish a network of spare automobile parts in the rest of Lithuania. The first stores have been opened in Kaunas and KlaipÄ—da. At the beginning of the year 2006 20 UAB “TANAGRA” stores and four auto services successfully carried out their activity in the whole of Lithuania.
However, the main criterion of UAB “TANAGRA” activity was to join up a harmonious team of educated and highly qualified staff. This includes shop assistants, managers, automobile repair specialists, and, certainly, senior managers.
In 1995 with a help of accumulated experience UAB “Tanagra” started to make up own program for sales and repair service accounting.

4. In 1998 the main trade and service centre of UAB “TANAGRA”, which started a successful activity, was built. This centre, situating at UkmergÄ—s Str. 294, has a total area of 3,000 m2. Till now you can find there the main Company’s office, the retail store of spare automobile parts and the wholesale department, the warehouse of spare automobile parts, and, certainly, an automobile repair service equipped with modern and quality equipment.
In the same year UAB "TANAGRA" became an official distributor of oils and greases in Lithuania of a well known company in the world - “Shell”.
UAB “Tanagra” is constantly looking for the suppliers of quality spare automobile parts. Since 1996 the Company has become the representative of well-known worldwide companies selling spare parts – these include LEMFÅRDER, KYB, LUK, GKN, EVR, PC, BREMBO and SOFIMA.
RUVILLE was one of the first companies that UAB “Tanagra” has started to work with from the beginning up to the present days. This company taught us how to work and owing to them we have acquired much experience in spare parts business.
In 1998 UAB “Tanagra” cooperated with 50 manufactures of spare parts.
Beginning with the year 1995 the Company opened its subsidiaries not only in Lithuania but also abroad. At present there are 4 representatives abroad: Tanagra - Moscow (Russia), Tanagra M – Minsk (Byelorussia), Tanagra Latvija - Riga (Latvia), ORIGINAL Tanagra - (Kaliningrad), where a successful trade in spare parts and oils for cars and cargo vehicles has been successfully carried out.
In this period UAB „Tanagra“ already had 15 own stores of spare parts.

5. In 1999 “Tanagra” started to master its activity with spare parts of cargo vehicles. A specialized store and warehouse for cargo vehicle parts is inaugurated. At the same time UAB “Tanagra” rents premises for cargo vehicle repairs, is preparing specialists and searching suppliers of spare parts for cargo vehicles.

6. In the year 2001 UAB “TANAGRA” certified its quality management system and acquired the certificate EN ISO 9001:2001. The quality management system has been constantly improved under this international standard. This proves the high-quality performance not only within the trade field but also when providing services of automobile repair and technical maintenance. In the same period UAB “Tanagra” certifies the whole stock and all spare parts for Byelorussian and Russian markets.
At the end of year 2004 UAB “Tanagra” was successfully recertified and validity of international standard was renewed.
In the year 1998 UAB “Tanagra” implants own computer program for spare parts and service repairs accounting. Many customers get interested in the new program ant start to buy it. Also among all subsidiaries UAB “Tanagra” implants a computer network which had a central server. This gave an opportunity to sell spare parts and serve customers effectively and qualified.
In 2000 UAB “Tanagra” kept successfully expanding its activity and acquired the premises of 2,000 m2 at Kauno Str. 45, in Vilnius. It was a “Subaru” dealer centre and workshop in the past. Here a modern UAB “Tanagra” automobile repair service, a store of spare parts, a café, and an office have been established.
In this period company cooperates with all Lithuanian customers and with customers from such countries like Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia and Byelorussia. Also it has it’s distributors in Kazan, Dnepropetrovsk and Nizhniy Novgorod.

7. New warehouse. In 2001 UAB “Tanagra” built a new warehouse-office premises and inside automobile parking lot. The total area of this new building is of 3,500 m2.
At present the production range includes over 65,000 names of parts. The Company cooperates with over 90 suppliers in the field of spare parts of lightweight and cargo vehicles. These include the parts of engine, suspension, chassis and electric equipment from different countries of the world. The range of the offered parts is regularly and constantly increasing.
In 2001 UAB “Tanagra” purchases a newspaper “Autoekspresas” and starts advertising campaign of spare parts. Later the newspaper was reorganized as a journal where UAB “Tanagra” was advertising not only own spare parts and services, but also gave useful advices for automobile repair questions.

8. Minsko pl. 26A. In 2002, strengthening its activity in the field of spare parts of cargo vehicles, it started to build a huge and most up-to-date cargo vehicles repair complex. This complex conforms to all the international standards not only in the field of technological processes but also ecology. The premises of 7,070 m2 are equipped with the following:

· Cargo vehicles service;
· Commercial microbuses service;
· Lightweight and cargo vehicles bodywork repair and painting service;
· Warehouse of spare parts;
· Retail store and small wholesale store of spare parts;
· Order department and wholesale;
· Cafe (50 seats);
· Motel (11 double-rooms);
· Recreation complex.
This new up-to-date complex was opened in 2003, and 70 employees started to work there. Today the centre at Minsko pl. Str. performs a very profitable and quality activity.
In the same year UAB “Tanagra” started to develop two new business types:
· car bodywork repair and painting;
· Trade in cargo vehicles.
Car bodywork repair and painting has been performed by means of modern computer equipment and high qualification specialists. UAB “Tanagra” also became the representative of MAN TopUsed and has a right to trade in second-hand cargo vehicles and buses. In 2006 UAB “Tanagra” got a representative’s right to perform the warrantee repair and maintenance of MERCEDES and SETRA buses.

9. Our plans.
Our future plans are to:
· Increase the sales of spare parts;
· Build new workshops in the strategic Lithuanian places;
· Open new stores of automobile spare parts;
· Introduce new technologies in sales and repair fields;
· Start cooperation with all worldwide known new companies;
· Improve the professional skills of our workers;
· Assist our customers to develop their business and partnership.
